Engine problem was created by Scottishmale
Came off the motorway and within a few minutes the car lost all power and was shuddering and the engine management light was flashing plus the light underneath what ever that light is . We pulled over to side of the road left the car to go to shops. Came back and the car started first time went back on the motorway to drive home, pulled off the motorway and came to a roundabout car slowed down and did the exact same thing again, car lost all power was shuddering and the engine management light came on again plus that light. After a few minutes I started the car and it started no problem and was able to drive the rest of the way home
What's the problem
Help please
Thanks Ross

Crank sensor behind the alternator. I take it it's the twin cam engine. Rev counter go all jumpy too?
