Jimny with spaghetti manifold ? was created by jimknows
Hello,

I posted long ago about my jimny with engine from baleno :)
Worked out great..
But i heard a guy talking some time ago that he was going to put a spaghetti manifold to his jimny...
Few question that i have, do you realy gain more power from that, and is it easy to do?
And how much do they cost?

Thanks

Is a spaghetti manifold what we would call a set of headers? If so, they are definately worth having. Here is mine before fitting. We call them 4-2-1 headers or extractors.

They used to be referred to as a 4-branch manifold, American terminology seems to have taken hold. I was looking at the options for an M13 engine but none of them seem to have equal length primaries which would be a drawback.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.

Hello,

Thanks for replies...was a bit out of range to give a fast reply...
Yes were talking about the same ZookFastback :)

Any feedback on how much power you gained?
And any price tag on this?

G13BB headers $245, M13A headers $225. Prices in Aussy dollars. I dont think there is too much extra power but it is hard to tell. Sounds nice but I think you would have to do a dyno before and after and the last time I went to dyno... they just laughed at me :o

Like the time I took my Jimny to the Heathcote dragway for one of the "Shine & Go" days. When I rolled up to the line, the announcer said "There will be a slight delay while we go grab a Calendar and circle the day I left" :S

What time did you post? I don't see an EGR pipe on those headers, other than that they look OK, are they the G13BB headers? all the ones that I've seen for the M13 engine are similar in design to the stock manifold and have different length primaries.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.
