Ring and pinion, transfer case doubts was created by ATW1980
Hey all,
Newbie question,
I brought a complete set of gears from a friend of mine..
Front and Rear ring and pinion..
transfer case gears
My friend was driving a JB43.. exact same model as mine..
I am facing a crisis now,
I could install the front ring and pinion. and the transfer case,, BUT the rear ring and pinion doesnt seem to fix into my rear axle..
I am puzzled because both of our models are the same.. JB43..
Anyone experience this before?

Whole line of Jimnys from 1990 year has interchangeable rear R&Ps. It's always 7" ring with 10 mount holes with straight rotation.

Got them in and working fine..
Very very happy with this modification..
Low end .. Good torque and pick up.
Good cruising too... Makes highway driving very comfortable..
Am averaging 9.5 to 11km per litre now... And I am on 245/75/16" mt tires!

So what parts have you used? Aftermarket parts or just swapping around Suzuki bits?
