Slight squeaking what could it be?

Ok so I've noticed whilst I'm Driving my jimny that the clutch when being lifted up and also the steering wheel when doing tight turns makes a very quite squeak sound if you had the radio on you wouldn't be able to hear it, it is literally very quite.... But now I've noticed it it's bugging the hell out of me!

I mean it's a 13year old vehicle and does make the odd squeak when bouncing over pot holes but I'm worried if this is something more sinister and potentially dangerous?! The Jimnys done well below average miles(47k) and has barely been used for past 6 years. I am having the car checked and serviced at a suzuki gargage but not whilst next month.

Any advice as always is greatly appreciated

my 2007 has a squeak too :blink:
have narrowed it down to a spilt seal on the passenger track rod end (ball joint)
mainly does it when going over a speed bump ....

try yours out by driving over a speed bump with your left wheel in the gutter (not on the bump) and see if it happens, then when able try going over to the other side of the road and putting the drivers front wheel in the gutter ... so only the passenger wheel hits the bump ... say at 15 to 20 mph
and see if you squeak ...

Haha potentially it does only start after about 20 mins of driving. Well I'm not going to worry about it then maybe it's just Cus it's a 13 year old tin

you could spend hours and ££££££'s trying to find the cause of a faint intermittent squeek, id wait and see if it gets any worse before trying to look for a needle in a haystack :laugh:

the worse it gets the easier it will be to find :whistle:

I have one that sounds like its coming from front drivers side its when i turn left ! Slapped a load of grease about it went and now back again after a wash !
