what a difference was created by jimnylee
Hi folks , I've been doing a bit of maintenance and underbody tidying up etc, only had the jimny for about 5 weeks so just sorting out bits and Bob's , I've ordered a kn panel filter but thought I would take off the air intake pipe at the throttle body , the whole thing was manky at the butterfly and in the intake plenum chamber , this must be because of the breather from rocker cover into air intake pipe, anyway I gave it a good dose of carb and intake cleaner spray into the plenum etc and started the engine to blow out the crap and did this 3 times , all I can say is if you haven't done this for a while I recommend it , it's made a real difference , the jim feels smoother and picks up far better than before so I'm well happy B) p.s also the stuff I used was by wynns and is safe for catalysts
