We bought our one new and had the dealers convert it prior to registration, all they did was black out the rear windows and ply line it. I'm not sure what the stuff they used is but it is opaque like a really heavy tinted film. I can ask for a product name if you want?

As jonesyba420 said above, surely the easiest way would be with vinyl? For the price of a sheet off eBay you could give it a go - the way the rear windows sit proud of the body would give you an edge to run a blade round which would help with the DIY approach. Just a thought!

Yep vinyl would be the easiest and cheapest option, sign makers and such should be able to do it if your not confident.
