Free Wheeling Hubs was created by auchenblae
Say after 4 miles or so noise from the nearside hub. Put it into 4WD and it goes away. Then 2WD and it is fine.
I changed the king pins bearings in that hub three years ago and this has happened off and on for a while.
So it seems that it may be half engaging the hubs that is maybe causing the noise.
Is the default no vacuum and no front wheel engagement. Then 4WD is vacuum and the hubs engaged.
Tying to think what would cause the hubs to sort of start engaging.
Run the 99 car for 8 years and 100k before getting rid and still a good sump. This 07 car has a porous sump, just ordered the bits with VAT, sump £114 plus gasket and stud £6. The parts guy said they are selling lots of sumps.
At least it is in stock at Suzuki.
