Front wheel bearing was created by northeastern
Just doing a pre MOT and found play on off side wheel, using the advice from Martin (foot on brake pedal test) it proved to be the wheel bearing.

The question I ask before doing job, does the locking nut turn clockwise or anti clockwise to undo.
Thanks H

Anti clockwise done up very, very tight! You need the special tool though, don't bugger it up with a chisel.

just reading instruction's it doesn't say and I've known other shafts to be clockwise to tighten ,didn't want to swinging the bar in the wrong direction.
