So I need to get a new Catalytic converter for the Jimny, what does all this with or without OBD mean ??

Most likely it refers to the presence or absence of the post-cat oxygen sensor.
The early engines only had one sensor, on the exhaust manifold, the later engines added a second at the rear of the catalyst.
If there are wires coming from the rear of the catalyst you have the later type.
(There is a threaded bush on top of the catalyst, you need to remove your sensor and fit to the new catalyst.)

OBD is on board diagnostics saying that thought all jimnys being fuel injected had ODB1 or OBD 2

Cheers guys, yes it has a sensor at the year of the Cat . Still a confusing load of cats to choose from on Ebay ??

Nah, looks like only two types to me
1) 70 quid one one: no threaded sensor bush
2) 100 quid one: has sensor bush
guess which type I need
EDIT: there is a third type, which won't fit as there don't seem to be any pipes or flanges.
I'd buy the one that comes with the bolts and seal rings from the supplier who claims they are the cheapest and will beat any price like for like.
