Hi guys can anybody tell is the transfer box on my Jimny free floating there seems to be a mount on it but you can lift the transfer box up and down a little should it be fixed in pos or float free on mount the mount seems to be rubber maybe split or damaged???? Your input please bob

It shouldnt lift but can wobble slightly to absorb vibrations. Sounds like you have broke a mount or split a rubber mount

Long bracket with two rubber mountings at drivers side, short bracket with single rubber mount at passengers side.

They aren't the strongest and as one has gone I'd think the rest are not far behind and would replace all three.
