Just in case others experience similar problem: No, could not see or hear water in the expansion tank boiling, but now is seems fine. Agree: had about everything replaced and engine overhauled, but I had already wanted a new car and since I could get one via work, went ahead and purchased a, wait for it, Mazda......stop shouting me down!! I absolutely love my Jimny, as does my dog, but I wanted something new. Any ideas for selling my Jimny - only saw spare parts for sale on BigJimny site. I have advertised in carsales.com.au

There are many things that could cause this. First I would check the coolant level and go from there. If you want us to check this out just call and schedule an appointment (313-562-7022) I am sure we can diagnose it and give you the answer you need other than that check or replace radiator cap and see if clutch on fan is good / on electric fans check sending unit and fan motor and of course check to see if any thing is blocking air on front side of radiator . is fan shroud still on
