Not that i know a lot
And i may be wrong.
But i thought a steering damper works both directions and a suspension shocker dampens only in the compression ( upwards) movement.
You can get a Disco steerin damper for about 20 squids.

I would buy a proper steering damper, most shocks have different rates of resistance for compression and extension and also some/most don't work well when mounted on their side.

Hi all !!
I'm considering getting a steering damper (or similar) too.
What are the pros against the cons?
Do they make it physically harder to steer?
Will it stop my Jimny bouncing over the road?
Many many thanks !
