Logical extension to this is to also get the m12 car charger and a couple of 6 amp batteries and an m12 stubby impact wrench and a box to hide them in that way you will some self repair capacity too. I'd certainly not like a long trip like that without some tools.

I have just the one compressor cause I am doing it alone.
I never or rarely keep the engine running for airing up my 235 from 0.4 bar to 1.8 or so.
I have swapped the original battery for a 70Ah AGM and with the original alternator I had no problems for 5 years.
I have not considered adding another battery, but then I have no winch
To fit a lager 18cm wide battery you would need to move the bracket on the side a bit.
And undo the wrapping of the cables to reroute, and swap the clamps on the poles.

Having a backup compressor unit is not a bad idea, but I would rather save weight and space.
