^^^^^^ what Fordem said is also my experience. The epoxy "fix" will work long enough to prove this is the reason the radiator is empty, but it's going to fail again eventually. Too many factors to say how long it will last, from use, application and the type of "glue". If I was giving it a go I would try plastic padding liquid metal, I've glued a Land Rover radiator together with this and it's still holding, but I don't use it at much.
The best fix is to replace the plug as soon as you can.
