Stability software?

Does the 2020 Jimny have stability software? Yesterday l was travelling along a minor road in York.
The weather was poor and l came to a corner which l thought would be fine at the speed l was going.
Unfortunately it wasn't, and the Jimny under steered.
I instinctively backed off the power which tightened the line but immediately started a fishtail, which was when the Jimny stepped in and sorted it out very quickly with some noise from the ABS braking system.

l didn't even know this was a feature of the Jimny, but it's a good job it was, but did get me thinking as to whether l could fit some better tyres, because l wasn't going that fast.

I did a bit of reading on this and a well set up 4x4 should have traction control, but not Vehicle Stability Control because it takes the off road ability away from the vehicle.

Ive had a vehicle with vsc before. It was an interesting experience when losing grip feeling the brakes apply.

I wasn't aware of the Jimny having vsc, having only had the TC kick in when driving on mossy tracks.

The system in the 4 is slightly more advanced than I have in Temeraire. In 4x2 and 4x4h the electronics limit power and apply selective abs to reconcile relative wheel speed between wheels on an individual axle and between each axle as needed. In these 2 modes the availability of traction is determined mechanically by the tyres. In 4x4l the system switches to traction control and instead of restricting power it is maintained and the abs is again used to restict a spinning wheel but this then forces the power across the axle to attempt to find a wheel with traction or at minimum to get all 4 spinning equally. In both cases the system is reactivate and quite invasive and not particularly smooth. What I have found though is that the standard Bridgestone ditchfinders really are dire. Dreadnaught had the bfg urban terrain and struggled to fire the abs in anything less than snow, Temeraire on the other hand has had to fire the abs on dry tarmac in a straight line more than once in 2500 miles and driving in the wet essentially equates to carrying no momentum through a corner. It also renders 4x4h virtually redundant on wet grass as it just pulls power until the car stops. I hadn't realised just how good the bfg were until I no longer had them. Personally if I had the spare cash I would have a quaife helical diff in the back like Sniper does and some more bfg's.

What tyres do you have on and what PSI are they?, I found the standard Duellers pretty good in all road conditions. Could it have been a diesel patch you hit?
