Alternative to a Jimny was created by lightning
l wonder if this is still due to be introduced in 2022. ln the absence of being able to get Jimnys this looks like a viable alternative.

 This later image from 2021 looks like the Jeep might have been turned into another generic crossover.
l hope not, as the original design was much better.

The first set of images are the usual Autoexpress fabricated affairs - I seem to remember they were actually photoshops using bits of the Jimny and Wrangler and it even retained the reg plate of one of the Gen4 press cars! Looks like they've updated them since then, but I wouldn't place any weight on AE and their 'it might look like this' "exclusives".

That's a shame, here's me thinking Jeep had created a five door Jimny!

The second picture is probably more like reality and will be lost in the sea of similar SUVs in the Tesco car park.

The chance of jeep producing a vehicle smaller than the renegade are slim to none existent simply because they are not going to sacrifice occupants crash protection just to try to steal a few sales from the Jimny. Whereas Suzuki come from a culture that prizes space saving and compactness very highly.

Here's the UK press Jimny that they photoshopped for it, didn't even bother changing the background, just changed the 68 to 21.
