Hello dear friends!
finally, i got my Jimny Gen4 2021 gray
I bought many spare parts from China, however there is one in particular causing BIG confusion along internal club in Mexico.  This is the thermical insolator with a cost of 40usd you have a piece to reduce noise and heat from the motor.
Let me attach some pintures from the item.
Waiting your value comments

Welcome to the forum.

I live in the Philippines and often see these advertised. In truth, I never really understood their purpose.

The first thing I would ask is what would you be attempting to accomplish? Is it noise and heat reduction in the cab? If there is a significant amount of vibration in the hood, it might dampen that slightly thereby reducing some noise. I doubt it would be significant. If it is to reduce a heat load in the cab, I can't see how it would achieve that. With the coverage area, coupled with the thermal conductivity of steel, I really don't see it doing much of anything.

I started out with nothing & still have most of it left

Under hood temperatures can be relatively high so anything like that which is reflecting heat back into the motor seems counterproductive to me.

It will only reduce noise to people outside the car, and Jimnys are very quiet cars anyway. It seems the main aim is to make it look prettier when the bonnet is open? I don't consider that particularly necessary.

It's a gimmick with a fancy name.

Think Sofology.

I would have thought these are only needed in realy cold climates to help the engine get up to running temperature, but then you might be wanting a front grille cover as well?
