Hi Bigjimny forum,
Mike from NZ here. I've been lurking a while and enjoying the great forum. I'm on my 5th Jimny now. Started with a 1987 Gen2 SJ413, then had a 1976 Gen1 LJ50 soft top. More recently, had a 2003 Gen3, then a 2011 Gen3, and now been enjoying my Gen4 for just over a year.
All have been manuals.
I really love the Gen4. Jungle green and now at around 15000kms. The NZ spec is similar to UK SZ5, but minus heated seats and rear camera.
Was on jimmy.se back in the day. I've learned so much from reading what you have done with your Jimnys and just wanted to say a big thanks!

Hey guys!
Newbie greetings from Iceland, My name is Ingo and I just bought a 2013 Jimny and I am in the process of making it more equipped for the Icelandic terrain and mountains (and later glaciers).
So far the mods I have done are a 2inch suspension lift w/ slight bumper trimming to accommodate a set of 31x10 r15 m/t. Just bought a set of 33x12.5 r15 which I will fit once a few more mods will be done( and a lot of cutting).
I just added a snorkel and a 42" led bar on the roof and I have a roof rack in the making on which I will add 4 more led work lights. And swapped the radio and fascia from a 2018 model and added 4pcs of 10cm Kenwood speakers so now I have usb/aux and a banging sound system.
Just bought a steering wheel damper and a Spartan rear diff locker and I will be swapping out the electric transfer case for a manual one from an older automatic Jimmy.
Much more to come.
