0W 20 is readily available and also on the approved list.

Just ordered some from there thanks. It seems Suzuki dealers take a relaxed view on which oil to use. Neither of my nearest dealers use the recommended 0w-16, one uses 0w-20 and the other uses 5w-30. Hope that doesn't cause warranty issues for anyone.Daniel30 wrote: Try opie oils

My 05' VVT thrives on Mobil 1, 0w40.
Not on the approved list but I have run it in multivalve engines since the 90's and never had a single oil related issue.
