I may have posted this in the past, however a quick fix for those of you that need it. The shelf was originally from a set of x 4 from Argos, when the legs have been cut down it will allow for storage of sundries underneath & still allow access to jack etc. When the rear seat squab has been removed, the back rests fold flat and allow for the whole area to be flush. I'll update with the appropriate measurements soon - when the wife's back!!

That's a nice little hack to get the back level if you still have seats! Cool idea :P

Hi, love the solution. Do you have the size of shelves you used please. I use my Jimny to transport my 5 dogs around and this would be a brilliant fix to level out floor....better than what have in place presently.
