Hi everyone,
I have a cunning plan to buy my first Jimny
Here is the link:
www.polovniautomobili.com/auto-oglasi/13...uzuki-jimny-13-i-4x4
Can you please have a look and tell me if something is not visually correct on this car.
I did not see a version with black wheels and that black stripe on sides so I have a question mark above my head.
It is y2007, 1.3 petrol engine and I've noticed that in some post you guys write about engine types (chain, belt). What is better and how to identify engine?
Seller stated that it has ASR (anti-slip regulation) and ESP (electronic stability program). All models have these?
Cheers
Vlada

Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.
Bellerophon (2024 grello van daily
ADOS Attention Deficit Ooooh Shiny!
As far as I am aware certainly for U.K. cars esp only became an option in 2013 but abs was definitely available in 2007. It's likely to be an m13a so chain driven and probably a vvt variable valve timing. Certainly looks clean in the pictures.

J999 MNY, ULYSSES M18 VVT with ITB's Dyno tested at 130hp
Pickup/tipper, R7me gearbox & 6.4 Rocklobster, 31" Toyo MT, 2x ARB air locker 3.9 diffs in braced axles, 6" total lift, Floating rear conversion, Raptor painted, CB, Recaro's, Caged, etc, etc...

That is a tidy standard vvt jimny with the bumpers and wheels painted black.
The black strips on the door were a dealer accessory for car park dents and just stick on.
Looks good apart from the bumper spray job, get under it and check for rusty holes and have a good listen to it in all gears for gearbox noise (R72 gearbox is common to fail), but generally looks very good.

Thank you for your replies.
Ah did not notice black bumbers.
Usually they are in same color as car, right?
Car sellers here write that car has all those esp,... 3-letter-words.
Was bit strange.
Btw, how good is heating in this model? My wife has a Suzuki WagonR petrol 1.3L and heating there is awesome.
