Hi I need to remove the four arms to have bushes replaced, doing all 12 so its done in one go. What advice can anyone give me regarding removal? Bolts are no issue.
I'm thinking ratchet straps from axle to axle to hold them square in place front to back and axle stands on chassis rails to keep height position then they should go back on with a wiggle and maybe a jack??

Jack up the entire car using stands under the chassis rails. Then it's pretty much a no brainer. Just unbolt all radius arms. No need for ratchet straps or anything. Just let the axles hang in the shocks.

I did mine by leaving it on all 4 wheels, chocking the wheel for the corner I was working on and then whipping it off and popping it back on with the chassis end last so there's only one bolt to align.
Then use a big screw driver to joggle the hole till that last bolt goes all the way through.
This worked with me changing standard arms for 3" castor corrected with one of the parts of the arm a couple of mm out on one arm!

Just got in from putting it all back together, took weight off with four stands under chassis, chocked the wheels. It also went back together very easily. Thanks tom and kirky for your time, just the job. Might be worth adding onto the Jimny wiki???
In case anyone's interested I drilled out the rubber, cut a slot in the cast liner that's left and tapped it out with a chisel. Very easy if your keen or tight. Garage put the 8 lower bushes in for £30. I did help tho.
