If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Probably one of them has both a crank and a cam sensor, and the other has just a cam sensor.
The ones with just a cam sensor have a different number of sensor teeth on the cam to the ones with both, there have been a couple of threads about it, either adding a crank sensor when there wasn't one, or changing the sensor teeth on the cam, depending upon which type of engine the car expects.

so both have only a cam sensor. have checked the ecu key and imobiliser. all working good (thought might have blown somethiing) all live and eath wires are working going to the ecu and the cam sensor and the coil packs but cant get a spark i am really baffeled
