None power steering box? was created by Lambert
Is or was there a Jimny in the UK that wasn't power steering and if so is its box compatible with a pas car? Allegedly in certain markets it is just a pas box with the pressure lines blanked off?

The steering box for the Suzuki SJ-series has exactly the same footprint and sizes. But it has no power.
So Suzuki should not need to put a power version in a car and blank it when they already have the non-power version in their production. (Was still made in India/paki/bangla until a couple of years ago)

So an sj box would fit. Do you know how many turns one is lock to lock? Ie is it a different ratios to the pas box?

I think its the same more or less. Pitman arm might have to be changed as the SJ one has more drop. depending weather you have a lift or not i guess. not sure if these boxes spline output shaft has other dimensions on vitara, jimny and SJ. aftermarket pitman arms excists.
