Extension kit or new shocks & spring kit? was created by Young Pretender
No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationHi all,

Sorry, i'm sure that will have been asked before but my searching skills are letting me down.

Why chose a spring and shock upgrade (trailmaster etc) over a shock and spring extension kit such as this one?

Is it simply that the shock and spring upgrade will alter the handling ability with different shock/spring ratings and offer an improvement here?

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Would also be interested to hear from anyone who has gone down the extension route and whether they are pleased - is it a common route?

Cheers
Mark

With longer springs and shocks you increase the amount the wheel can move, which translates into better articulation off-road. With spacers everything is the same as standard, just a bit taller.
