Finally finished engine work on the Baleno 1600 G16B that is going into my Jimny 2000 Cabriolet. The oil pickup mod has been the hardest part but anyway, engine is in the Jimny now and will start connecting up all the plumbing and wiring next weekend. It has taken me months to get to this stage.
The job hasn't been difficult but life has.
Found out I have Cancer in March and so i've been commuting 1200 k's a week for treatment and bought meself a little Suzuki Celerio for the weekly trip. It is incredibly fuel efficient at 4.7 litres/100 k's.
Anyway, gotta take what your dealt and deal with it. Jimny should be on the road again in a fortnight.

Yep, all going well so far. Have only had Chemo cos it is spread so far. Hopefully will get Radiation therapy started in a couple of weeks. Can't wait to get the Jimny on the road again.

Sorry to hear your news keep your chin up
Amazing that over that entire commute the other route is only 6 minutes different :woohoo:
Look forward to seeing some pics of the Jimny with its new power plant
