please help I am new to your site .......my problem is ; I have bought a Vitara ..BUT ..the side and tail lights will not turn off the only way is to disconnect the battery .......I bought the car with the problem ...I was told this fault had only started since the car had been jetwashed...any ideas ??????

It sounds like a problem with the earth to the rear lights caused by corrosion.

Take the lights out and clean the plug and light connection.
