boot tie down points

I was cleaning my jimny today, giving it the ol' wash and vac when I spotted some slits in the boot carpet that I've never spotted before. I lifted the carpet, and lo! It looks like there are threaded holes for bolt on tie down points. I could do with some luggage straps in the boot to stop my tool box sliding about, and I'm certainly not going to pay a main stealer for the genuine part, so I made some up from webbing.

I prized the bung out and realised that suzuki bolts are mf threaded as oppose to the more common mc... so I just picked a smaller one and stuck it through the hole with a nut on.
I'm pretty pleased with the result. Anyone else done anything similar?

Good job, I did the same with bits of 1 inch angle with a slot in big enough to pass a mini ratchet strap through, also put a big spreader plate on the under side.

I did think about that, then I remembered that I wasn't winching off them, and at worst, I might use one of my lidl ratchet straps on it. I didn't bother with any reinforcing.
