which engine g13 bb replacement?

Ive now found my engine failure was due to lack of oil to the head, my question is which is engine is the most straight forward to replace it with or if anyone has a 1.3 id be interested thanks

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationGood ones are as rare as hens teeth and are now comanding big money baleno G16 a good bet if you can get it with the correct injectors and you will need a converter plate plus sort out the sensor issues and a few other bits
Other than that find another head and cam may be easiest option cam and head destruction on the G jimny engine is not un common

I have been told id need a new oil pump as it looks like oil starvation, that sound right? I was thinking more oil pick up blocked maybe? I really dont want to change the block as i know its genuine milage with no knocks ect. But a full strip rebuild will be big money

Well that is the chance you take yes if you bolt another head on could go the same way if the oil pump is shot and or the strainer is blocked
Whats the old head like in the top black and sludgy or a nice golden colour post a picture so we can have a look.
I know everyone thinks low mileage is good 1 lady owner and all that shite but if car has been short tripped and not had extra services then it can be a killer for an engine
An engine that has been run hard and maitained well can often be a far better unit.

I know what you mean, i know if i buy a new block il have to do timing water pump ect hence why im thinking just rebuild mine first as last as i have no intentions of selling up so il have the use of it plus i know its right.
