What has going to the shop got to do with the cost of fish??

Yeah OK. Just a few things,; I've had cards put through the door when the packet wasn't with the postie. I've had postmen drop the item back in the pillar box, not even attempting to deliver. I've had no cards left to say there is an item. I've had stuff signed for by the postie and not me. As for items lost in the post, go figure. In fact I can't recall all the issues I've had.
Several times I have gone to the sorting office and mentioned the service. Several times had to write to head office, several times had to phone the head office. Many times had to put in claims for outgoing goods that have not got there.
My regular postie is fine but there are lots of stand-ins who frankly can't speak the language and day off cover that often creates a problem.
