hi, i'm new to this forum as getting my first jimny today. :woohoo: it will be used solely off road and was wondering if anyone had welded their rear diff on a jimny?
i know it will greatly reduce turning circle but not to concerned about that more worried about gearbox/transfer wind up. jimny i'm getting already has sj transfer box fitted.
any comments greatly appriecated.

kev.

Considering how cheap those lockrights and other auto lockers are these days, I wouldn't bother welding, but if you're on a tight budget then go for a Kemppi-locker. :)

Lockright is the best mod i've made. Will allow you to turn much easier on dry surfaces than a welded diff. Its also a doddle and quick to install.
