I'm fully aware of the benefits of the offroad awesomeness but as I drive my jimny Monday to Friday would it make any difference to normal 2wd gearing as my 30inch special tracks, winch and roll cage make it a bit of a chore on my standard gearing :(

Cheers guys

Yes it will make it a bit easier to drive, as a rocklobster is around 10% reduction in high range. And much much better offroad in low range :-)

Yes mate , although the top gear is reduced it is offset by the larger tyres so you dont get much difference top end , bottom end especially setting off is much better

The 5.14:1 is an 18% reduction in high range, which would probably fit your 30" tyres great :)
