noticed this post by markyp2000 earlyer,

On the gear box end of the cable remove the plastc cover and you can see the bearing get a bit of wd40 and spray it while some one pumps the pedal it may be the bearing sticking on the shaft and when it warms up i frees up a bit.

i did this to mine n solved the probem.
i was wondering if threre are any other simple jobs like this that hardly cost owt that improve or help maintain the jimny that you can do on them days your sat there thinking what can i do.

One thing i noticed on this forum is that no one ever has mentioned the grease nipple on the front prop slider i keep all my bits well greased i mean door locks door hinges hand brake cable as i have a rear disc conversion brake load compensater nuts and bolts on the trailing arm
