Hi i am looking at buying a standard 12" long quare 2" tubular hitch receiver however to fit it to the front of the vehicle do you just weld it straight on? is there any alternative?

That's what I did.









Bit of 2 inch box from blacksmith, very scarce size apparently, but got enough to do back as well.



On the 8th Day God made the LandRover -
On the 9th day he swapped it for a Jimny.

I mean a hitch like the one below, so I could fit a winch cradle to it when it's needed

Why not a permanent mounted winch behind the bumper ?
