Standing there are a few good lanes around Crowbrough however there are 2 to watch out for as they are quite rutted and you may struggle if you have a fairly standard Jimny, the first is near Crowbrough Common, this is a short one, very rutted I got bottomed out on the way back down and the wife had to get out a push after I managed to wedge the waffle boards under the wheels to get traction. The second is known as Reigate mill (near Eridge station) Again very rutted and it has a big rocky drop half way down, I turned round here after walking this section and I am going to wait to do it with someone else I case I get stuck.

Have fun

I am heading out with mudman Sunday afternoon over Maidstone way if you want to join us. Drop me a pm and I will send you the details.

Hi dan we had a last min change of plan and didn't go out that way in the end and just did a few local ones, but I know redgate mill as iv done that in my mates disco and I don't think any jimny would make that all the way as got to straddle a 4ft wash down, I think I got pics of us trying to get another disco out that slipped in to it, thanks for the invite but I think I need to keep local at the mo as I my transfer box isn't sounding to good and I got a bit of knocking coming from the suspention :(

Looks like you still had fun, I didn't realise Reigate mill turned like that, when I got to the huge rocks more like a waterfall I decided it best not to continue on my own. I can't see why you would not get down in a Jim, I will prob walk it all next time to be sure :) shame about the transfer box and suspension :(
