Hi All !!

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!
I hope every one had a great Christmas.

Enjoy !

Not much respect for the tracks and countryside shown in the vids
Shame people feel the need to do that

It's mostly public land but it's owned by our relatives.

The land the lanes are on may belong to your relatives but the lanes themselves belong to and are used by everyone.

You putting videos on you tube of you and your mates driving like that gives those that want to stop greenlaning altogether the ammunition they need. As does you and your mates driving sodden lanes making them muddier and messier in the first place.

I would suggest the right thing to do would be to remove the video from YouTube and thus here to avoid this and our association with it.

If a lane is so wet it can only get damaged, don't drive it. Let alone wheel spin off the side or drive up the edges at speed.

At least you stopped for the horses.

The tracks in question are the borders of privately owned fields or rarely used.
Additionally, I've learnt from users of this website to use speed as a technique to climb slopes.

Martin can remove this post if he doesn't approve and doesn't want any association.

Apologies for the drama.

If i understand rightly (not being from the UK but done research for a trip i am planning) It dosnt matter who acctually owns the land as public Byways can and do skim the edge of privertly owned fields...

Also it dosnt matter how often they are used it only takes one person to see a few 4x4s playing silly buggers to possibly get that byway restriced

Also as for the speed yes sometimes you need speed to overcome difficult terrain but only where nessesary

"Go as slow as possible and as fast as nessesary"
