Hello! :) was created by Gabbie205
I'm saying bye bye to my 2001 Jimny, aptly named the Boogermobile. It's my first car, and since I live on the coast and the roads here are not great... the Jimny is awesome. I'm getting a 2009 Jimny (nameless until it's finally officially mine) but wanted some tips on how to make it better offroad/asphalt wise. I'm in no way mechanical, but I do know the mechanic of the local off-road adventures tours, they only use jimnys so he knows the vehicle very well.
I'm in Punta Cana, not very easy to get parts and stuff, I've tried to buy from UK but they ask for a bunch of things like registration and whatnot.. any ideas as to how to order parts from outside UK?
By the way... this is me and my beloved Boogermobile

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there
Welcome
Why not ask your friendly mechanic what they fit and where they get the parts?
He will likely know what breaks and needs uprating, and what tyres to fit for your local conditions.
