i was pulling off in first gear rwd got half way into first gear when there was a BIG bang and lost drive power everything ground to a stop the truck want now start and dont even turn over dead!!! its pissing oil out not the diff tho its highter more like drivers side of eng block maybe gear box seams ok all gears seem to go in ok same with the tf box thats all i can say at mo till day light anyone know what it could be ??????

and what eng do people put in ther jimnys for an upgrade ?????

Doesn't sound good. Have you opened the bonnet to see what's happened? What's the reading on the dip stick?

I'm thinking con rod let loose and made efforts to escape through the side of the block from description. That's a severe diagnosis from the little you've told us though.

As above mate sounds like youv blown a hole in the block of the engine. Check oil level if very low/none in then its a gonner

Depends what standard engine is in for upgrade options for g13b people use the g16b simple and easy to do

Yeah she's dead snapped a conrod and thrown it through sump! Proper job!does anybody know about the Suzuki swift1600 gti conversion? I fancy more power! I have heard it will drop straight on the engine mounts but will the jimmy gear box drop on the engine or need modifying? Cheers for any info!
