Dreaded tyre sizes....again.... was created by Jimnyadmirer
Ok, so I know a lot of you will be sick to the back teeth of questions about tyre sizes by now, Ive had a look through some of the posts here, and cant seem to find the info im looking for!!

have ordered a 1.5" spring spacer kit from bits4vits, and was wondering......how tight will a 235/75/15 buckshot mudder tyre be on a 1.5" lift?? could i get away with it without cutting chucnks out the bumpers??

Just to note, ive already also fitted 32mm spacers front and rear and have just order 15x7 new steel wheels.

your help is greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance!!

Regards

Ian :)

Not sure if this is the place too bring this up but im also looking to get some tyres asap, as well as a 2in lift. Apart from tyre clearance, there also seems to be a lot of chat about larger diameter tyre's and transfer box gear ratio's. Some people say the larger tyres put too much strain on the trans, yet other seem to be running larger tyres on a standard transfer box with no issues. All seems very confusing if you ask me.

I've been running 235x75s with stock transfer box and I'm in no rush to get a rock lobster. I've done a few pay and plays and been on some Laning trips. Works well.

So would 31x10's be too tall? Not sure what a 31 inch equates to in standard tyre sizings.
