Cleaning the jim was created by ne-crock
Hey,

i'm curious to know what ways people have found is best for cleaning all the dirt and grime off their jimny's

just given her, her first bath and it was a chew on, probably left more scratches from the gravel stuck in the mud than was worth washing her for.

so yeah, any tips on washing the mud off?

cheers

Jet wash first, (have to do it at garage due to hose pipe ban)

then get it home chuck a couple of buckets over it and use lots of wash and wax shampoo.

then chuck a couple of clean buckets of water over it again then with a micro fibre cloth dry it off!

then if I'm feeling really keen i'll use a black t-cut and electric polisher to bring up the shine and get rid of a few scratches then a quick wax to seal it.

Wash it???? Not washed mine for months!

Usually pressure wash it as soon as i get back from offroading, put the front up on ramps to make it easier and get in all the bits i can underneath. Repeat from the back. Usually takes me longer underneath than the body!

Black Jimny's don't get stuck!

Cross axle mine. Drive onto ramp one side, then lift opposite rear on axle stand and jetwash. Then reverse cross axle, jetwashing underneath.
