TONG

I have previously done tong(parkwood) in a diesel discovery and a v8 discovery,and today i took my recently purchased jimny,and i have to say that the jimny performed much better than both of the landrovers.no need for masses of right foot,just put her in low with minimal revs and she whent everywhere.very pleased with my purchase.:woohoo:.just goes to prove big is not always better,and that good things do come in small packages.:evil:

Didnt see Dave Jones from Bits 4 Vits there then in his Black Vitara? He said he was following 3 jimnys round all day.

yeah i saw the bits 4 vits vitara,but there was about 6 jimnys,but i was there on my own with a passenger,so he was probably with the other group.:evil:

I also used to be a Disco owner! I loved every minute of it except the fuel bills and having to fix it every weekend!

Used to take it to Tong most pay and play days but I couldnt do some of the black routes in it as it was too nice to scratch!

Anyway I now have the Jimny and I have to say it can put most Landies to shame! Today I decided to go laning and we came across part of a lane that was completely covered in 3-4 inches of ice. To cut a long story short my dads 90 couldnt get up the hill! The Jimny..... straight up no problem! Had to reverse back down tho as it was too dangerous. Nearly rolled it on the way down!

Anyway if you go to Tong a fair bit I might see you there as I will hopefully be starting going again if funds allow!

We saw the Bits 4 Vits vitara on the opposite side of the M62 on our way home! Thats a big truck!!!
