yes 400-600 on a standard cat. its measurment is cells per square inch. the lower the number the bigger the voids between the walls of the cells, the bigger the gaps between the walls the better the flow.
sports cat can be had any where these days even ebay have them listed for around 90 quid for a 200 cell unit.

Yep, it was me that posted about the sports cat. The holes are over 4 times larger and the sound out the rear, when coupled with 2" system and hotdog rear muffler, is AWESOME. Backing off especially, the burble is to die for 
Oh, and the car runs better too, but the sound was what I was chasing!
