how to carry a extra wheel was created by northeastern
Hi,
I'm running 215x80x15 insa Sahara tyres on my Jimny,as these tyres are directional tread pattern I
would like to carry a extra spare wheel some where on my Jimny.
Don't fancy cluttering the inside of the vehicle so was thinking carrying the spare on the bonnet has anyone done this or is there a better place.
My Jimny is a soft top but with the fibre replacement roof panels so could the spare go on top.

Because these tyres are directional, the V formation of the tyres should be fitted in the correct forward
position.....so if you need to change a wheel you've got a 50- 50 chance that the spare wheel will fit the right side of the vehicle.

tbh alot of tyres are directional on cars & 4x4's & they only have one spare wheel
if you get a flat & need to put the tyre on with the direction facing the wrong way it will not make no differance or affect it in any way it will be fine to get you home

Or a can of tyre seal/weld.
Although the tyre fitters don't like it.
Ever thought of that green stuff, put it in and it guards against punctures.
Helps against bobby spikes! (Stinger) LoL!
Supposed to be good stuff. I don't know personally, but?...
