Off road tyres was created by BIG BILL
No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationI am after some offroad tyres and wheels and i dont want to do any body mod's at the moment.
I would like 50/50's or more offroad bia's but must be road leagal.

I found these on ebay and thought they were a good price

Has anyone got these fitted or had them on a standard jimny? i have a feeling the sahara may not be road legal.

Also has anyone heard of or tried the Malatesta Koala tyre at £250 for 4

Cheers BIG BILL

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationHave a look here ..

Personally, if you are going for 50:50 tyre, I would look at a new tyre like a General Grabber AT2 ..
www.tyresdirectuk.co.uk/xcart/product.ph...16424&cat=267&page=1

These babies are very hard wearing (not uncommon to get 40,000 miles out of a set), have excellent on and offroad manners plus are great in the snow.

They are new tyres, so no problems about them not being road legal.

If you do a lot of mud plugging though, you need a more agressive pattern but this either means a lot more for a new tyre or having to go down the remould route.

Put a set of 30 mm spacers on too and you will have a very capable, stable both on and off road platform

on a personal note, if we were just using our jimny for bad weather use, winter & occasional green lanes, the AT2's would be my choice, but when you are up to the axels in thick Mud, you need a little bit more agressive tread but you sacrifice onroad handling

PS, you can get a set of spare Jimny steel wheels for about £40

or ... as much as I personally donot like Khumo Tyres, these are a cracking deal if you dont want to shell out £300

ooky_123, I saw those on ebay but pickup only and they are miles for me, I don't mind spending £300 as long as they fit.

How much are 30mm spacers? and are they easy to fit ( do you need longer bolts?

Cheers BILL
