hi, im an MOT tester and the others are right, VOSA have taken it out of the test, i had a mini in the other day with wider minilights on it that stuck out about 3-4 inches, it says nothing in the books and the VOSA helpline couldnt give me an answere, just pass and advise, dont know how the evil eye of the law would look at it though, hope this helps:)

I do a'lot of work for VOSA, (commercial brake tester/ shaker plate/HLT engineer)
They don't know what they are doing themselfs. Enforcement make up the law to suit themself's. I can show evidence of this, where they tow a trailer (2000kgs total) carrying a mobile commercial brake tester with a Renault Master plated to tow about 1500kgs. The spec of the Master was gvw 3500 and gtw 5000, which gives a trailer weight of 1500kgs. I work that out as OVERLOADED.
VOSA are 5cum.

Sell some! I'm looking forwards to seeing the end results, also you got me thinking of 33''s
I wish I didn't leave a brand new set on a pajero I sold last year. :-(
