Why is it that people with obviously new and fast cars piddle along below the speed limit but not so slow as to be able to get past safely without exceeding said limit? There is no reasonable excuse for why a Jimny should be able to accelerate with an audi a5 on an open A road when leaving a speed restricted zone, none at all. Get out of the way you deluded knob jockey, some of us want to get to our destinations before we die of old age.

Haha, l regularly encounter a Honda CRV with a private plate on my way to work.
Exactly the same, does 10mph below any restricted speed limit then pootles along at around 45-50mph.
I overtook him one morning taking the jim jam out of it's comfort zone speed wise and went sailing off into the distance at my usual 55-60.
Got to work and he's somehow right behind me at the traffic lights into the car park
How did that happen???

Oh how I agree. I get this irritation a lot when I am in my Pajero. It is no slouch but obviously no match for a Nissan GTR type motor or even a Ford Mondeo. What is worse is when they come to a gradient and then suddenly whoosh, they run up it at speed leaving me to grind my way up the hill.
I also feel sorry for those behind me that need to pass two cars while I am stacked behind the slowcoach.
Many speed limits irritate me enormously.

It almost makes a swift sport 1.6vvt seem like a good idea but then it would in short order need a turbo and then nitrous, which having had subarus is not an arms race I want to get back into because you start to get paranoid and drive everywhere at 10 mph below the speed limit for fear of letting it off the leash and loosing your license. Hmmm, Jimny Power!

And why is it so often an Audi that is the perpetrator of crap driving.

Either too slow in front of you (and this coming from a Jimny driver too), or too fast and right on your arse. Usually the latter!
