Tootling along behind a taxi today when suddenly he stops. Nearly rear ended as I was watching the upcoming junction. Yes I know they do unpredictable things. He stopped to let a pedestrian cross who was on the pavement on the right even.
So we had a chat.
His final comment..........it's not his car so he couldn't care less. :evil:
I'm pretty sure it's his spine, and he'd care quite a lot if he injured it. On the other hand we all know taxi drivers are direct bloodline descendents of Ben Hur so should give them a wide berth.
Round these parts taxi drivers seem more inclined to cause collisions by parking in the most inappropriate places one could imagine. so far the worst example I have seen is on the outside lane of a roundabout just before an exit in the middle of the morning crush, there are other mentally deficient examples but I doubt anyone would believe if I wrote them down.
