I just cannot seem to get this right. I can never seem to work DVRs easily. I have had about three systems over the years, the best being the first that was a VHS job with scart connections. I needed one or two VHS players per year as it was hard on the machines and it needed one per camera.

Then things went to DVR; these machines seem stupid to me cos I can never get them to replay like a tape machine used to. Accessing something that happened an hour ago is as stupid as accessing something from a week back............impossible.

The latest is the Sentient and it truly pees me off; like the one before it the make I don't remember.

Can anyone tell me of a cheap system that has a simple rewind remote- none of this mouse business - I now have four cameras in use

Exactly the same problem + another.
Once I find the bit I want to save, I cannot find a way of transferring it to a USB flash drive etc.
Does my head in too. :ohmy:

Surely there has to be a simple to operate system which does not require a second mortgage somewhere out there.
