I run XP Professional and have been using the Chrome browser.
I used to use Opera which I loved but I needed to change to Chrome. After months of using Chrome I am just now finding I cannot access Virgin's own mail.
I Googled it (that's a laff) and found a long text about it which I just found confusing. Can anyone explain this nonsense to me please and tell me what to do as I am like a five year old - no make that a three year old - when PC problems happen.
I dislike Firefox and I won't use IE. IE cannot be totally deleted from hard drives either (unless the drive is wiped to military standards).

If I have it in favourites/bookmarks etc. that's when it is now troublesome. Never was.
I can get VM but only from scratch. Any pick straight to email via Google search etc. and it's a no no. If I dial in Virgin Media in the address bar, and only go to VM, then do the selections I can get to my webmail.

Maybe think of going over to Linux, mate. I use Ubuntu and find no probs. No virus probs, Chromium for Browser. You can use a "Live CD" to try without installing on your computer. System is free, all software is free, thousands of software free including Libre Office for MS compatible Word processing, Spreadsheets etc and Thunderbird to keep all your different emails in the one box.
XP is now unsupported and no updates are available for you.
