I suppose this is aimed at everyone who feels the burden of rising costs but feels that it's pointless voting.
well here's the real deal... the government absolutley loves that way of thinking. my guess is that the majority of under 30 year old's think no matter whether they vote or not it won't make a difference and that's the way the government would like it to stay.
this group of our public has a high percentage of unemployed ( can't find a job cos there aren't any) and the rest are so disillusioned they just can't be arsed to vote.
well hear this............. unless you do vote, you won't make a difference so just stop your moaning and just accept what you're given. low wages, high utility bills and income tax levied on all your wages. cos you don't have any spare money to tuck away , it's all spent to live.
it's about time we all stood up to be counted and get rid of this trio of self financing twats that seem to take it in turns to line each others pockets.

Got a feeling that this thread might turn into question time.

I agree with your main point though.
Grinds my gears when people like to complain yet decide they can not be bothered to vote.

Trouble is the "general public" are too thick to want or be able to change anything so the same parties will always be in power. There are alternatives the to Lib/Lab/Con.

But imagine if everyone in the country didn't vote at an election. Now that would be interesting...

Here's a list of councils that will be voting this coming May at the same time as the EU elections.

get out and make your mark. it'll be surprising how things change. i don't care who folk vote for but they should take the ten minutes or so away from the tv and put the effort in. the dickheads misspending our hard earned tax money might just get that wake up call. nuff said
